Mermaid charts in your Notion pages now have a much cleaner and more organized layout.

This update automatically improves the rendering of all Mermaid charts, both new and old. Notion has switched the default layout engine to Elk, which is designed to create better-structured diagrams. This means that your flowcharts, graphs, and other diagrams will appear more neatly arranged and are easier to follow.

This change is a backend update, so you don’t need to do anything to enable it. All Mermaid charts on your pages are automatically rendered with the new, improved layout engine.
